The gameplay at Gamescom was pretty good and reminiscent of the original in many ways. I just am a bit concerned with the enemy AI which at times felt unresponsive and sluggish. Is it because it was toned down for the demo? I hope this isn't the current state of the game

I've just recently bought this game, and I can't get enough of it. It's great, from the story, the acting, the setting, the characters... I love it. And it's probably the first time that I've ever left a horror game with a brand new ship, I'm now team Emily and Ruth for life 😂

This is quite cringe. I hope whatever you were going to show on August the 2-nd would be any good. I remember your version of never shutting up protagonist and your models of bloodflies with fangs and it was bad.

Ok, es ist klar, dass es sich hier um ein geskriptetes Gespräch handelt. Aber trotzdem macht mir das gesagte Hoffnung. Ich wünsche mir so sehr, dass das Remake den Spirit von Gothic einzufangen vermag. An der Musik von Kai Rosenkranz wird es jedenfalls nicht scheitern. Ich verbinde so viel mit Gothic: Es ist das erste 3D-Rollenspiel, in das ich völlig versunken bin. Es ist mein Lieblingsspiel aller Zeiten. Ich werde das Projekt auf jeden Fall im Auge behalten und ich bin jetzt schon fast ein bisschen hyped.

I beg you do not do quest markers and minimap showing u everything like in majority new titles.

I think it would be a good idea to measure the visibility of the barrier on how far away you are from it, adds to the sense of scale.

All these comments about how much still needs to be done indicate the game premiere will be in 2025.

I am sick right now and I always go back to gothic, it has helped me get through the hardest stuff. Words can't express how thankful I am for this remake. The sect camp was my favorite, by far the most atmospheric camp, hope you do it justice. Hopefully I'll still be around when it releases. 😂 P.s. carmageddon reboot next and I'm complete!

Ok this Dani guy sounds like he would be a pretty good fit for the voice of Diego. Just needs to work on his pronounciation a little.

I always have to imagine what a world would look like were the whole world plays and celebrates gothic. There is magic in the essence of this game.
